Winter visitors to Lincolnshire, and across the UK, from Iceland and Scandinavia, redwings are often seen in flocks with fieldfares, moving around the countryside to feast on berry-laden trees and hedgerows. A small member of the thrush family, the redwing is identified by its orangey-red flanks and underwing, and the creamy stripe over its eye.<\/p>
